    no i mean with my 1.0 account i will have access at launch without preordering. i just want to use preorder code on my account that has no ffxiv options, but use the EA code for my 1.0 account so i can start this weekend. ill probbally let friend use the other account at launch.

    You can't split your preorder code from your early access. Your preorder code gives early access and preorder items to one service account and only one service account. If you want items on one account and early access on your other, you will need two preorder codes. Since you want to use your 1.0 account for early access, I suggest you use it on your 1.0 account.

    My problem is like I posted in TechSup; after hearing about all the wrong codes and PSN issues and stuff and comfort of us to play I put EA on my laptop but Im a 1.0 user but I played PS3 phase 4 and linked account but I want to know if I lose my minion and hat now.

    After I patched the ps3 version I was able to patch the pc version within seconds after linking my account on ps3. Before updating and linking on ps3 I was getting the no active account message on pc.

    Also noticed the ps3 patch is 2.5gb while the pc one was 1.5gb. Wonder what the difference is?

    Since I cannot make a thread yet, I am going to post a note here for those that do not know.

    While the servers are in maintenance mode, the PS3 launcher (or PC) has been updated for EA. Best to go log in, accept their ToS, unlock your EA content, and install the new patch. It's 2.5 gigs so have fun.

    Sorry guys, simple question:

    If I bought two early access codes for both my ps3 and pc, I won't be limited to either or, correct? I already registered both codes, but I won't be able to update until tonight. Thanks in advance!

    Hi Guys,

    I'm having a similar issue with my wife's account. She is a Legacy player(original CE), who played 1.0 B3 and B4. when we launch the client, it says "No valid or active service account..." We have checked her account on SE management page and everything looks fine. Is there a work around for this? I thought all a Legacy user had to do was "login".

    Hmm when I registered my PS3 Collectors from Amazon I clicked on PS3 in the website. Then when using SE account in the PS3 ARR Client I check to add my PS3 code and items to ARR 1.0.
