Hey Reinheart, I see a few different of JP/eng blogs are pissed (putting it nicely) about myth gear being thrown away from the top spot/being useful from 2.2 onwards. Not happy about the new tomes, & gear level increase & gear being made uselss every 6 months e.t.c. seems to be a 80/20 split on the matter via blogs.

have you seen any posts about it or along those lines in the official jp section?
I have got a Playstation review on FFXIV to do on current matters/opinions.

Hmm I have to check it out, I knew this was going to happen even before launch so I'm not even surprised by ilvl increase making current gears weaker than new ones... It happens with most MMO's anyways. AF1 will probably be upgradable to AF2 and relic will have upgrades but the rest was most likely going to get weaker over time with newer patches.

yeah i've seen a few more posts popping up about it on unrelated matters. Just wote the review how it is, rather than how players may or may not see it. That they are increasing the levels, rather than players are not happy & why.
i was nice enough to point out some of the balance issues in game & Causes bet you anything they dont get published because of the ps4 release PR.
