    hmm well ideal rotation should probably be as follows; T3 (on pull) > F3 > F1 (using F3 on firestarter procs *Stopping cast for procs as well* as well as T3 for thundercloud procs again stopping cast) > 500~mp > B3 > T2 (YES THUNDER 2) > F3 > rinse repeat. Opener you should throw raging strikes in before F3, swiftcast is ideally used after you cast B3 in above rotation to instant cast T3 giving you a few extra seconds on your thunder dot allowing for possible extra proc but either way an increase to dps.

    This is just about the worst advice I've ever seen. Don't do any of this.

    It should be noted that Fire I is far more consistent than Fire III (shorter cast time, less mana), and it provides means of doing large amounts of damage on the move via Firestarter procs. I can see an argument for using Fire III over Fire I if you absolutely never have to move during an encounter, but we both know that condition is almost never met. I'm not sure if you're basing your conclusions solely vs Firestarter procs, or practicality. In a real "world" situation, Fire I is the better choice.

    Read the entire thread. Some very interesting things in here I hadn't thought of before as well as some combo's I'm sure will be useful. Can't wait to get back in and test er' out.

    Thanks a lot to everyone who provided helpful information in this thread. I'm just getting my THM to level 20 and I was originally only leveling it to get swiftcast for my SMN but after playing the class for a while I'm really starting to like it!

    Archer is required to become a black mage, I know because when I went to become a black mage and had arcanist at 16 , the quest marker was red and said I needed Arc to meet the requirements. Arc is archer not arcanist .
