I think it's incorrect. I don't know why so many people think to open with B3 at full mana, it serves no purpose. If you had infinite mana, all you would do is cast F1 all day with firestarter procs, you want to maximize your fire time.

I think the lvl 50 rotation is: Swiftcast > F3 > F1 w/ firestarter until nearly OOM > B3 > T1/2 (not sure yet) > repeat
To people saying Convert is useless, I disagree. When you have bosses where you need to use flare clear a lot of adds quickly I like the following: Raging Strikes > Fire 2 until nearly OOM > Swiftcast > Flare > Transpose > Convert > Thunder 1/2 > Back to normal rotation

You cast B3 so you have umbral up while ur casting thunder and F3. Also so it reduced the cost of F3 so u have more mana for F1.

Just hit 30 and received BLM and I have a quick question. What gear and materia should I start using? Up until this point I've pretty much just used quest gear. Thanks in advance.
