Lets get some discussion rolling. Ill try to keep this first post updated as much as possible.

THM 30 + ARC 15 (Once a BLM, you gain access to select ARC and ACN abilities)

So far its looking like the rotation would be:

Blizzard 3 (Umbral 3) -> Thunder 3 -> Fire 3 (Astral 3) -> Fire 1 (until Firestarter procs) -> 500 mana -> Blizzard 3 (Umbral 3) -> Repeat. --> Thunder 3 on every Thundercloud proc

It's better to keep enough MP to cast a Blizzard 3 + a thunder 3 instead to use Transpose + wait for a tick. Plus when you use Blizzard 3 under Astral 3, the cost of Blizzard 3 is 71 MP iirc so you dont need to save many MP ^^

(this way you cast Blizzard 3 then thunder 3 and you will be full MP during the cast of Fire 3 so 0 sec of waiting)

Also it's a bad idea to count on an accuracy boost every 90 sec (it's better to have enough acc on your gear 100% of the time), so you should never use Hawk Eye. It's better to set virus and Eye for Eye imo.

While under Umbral III, why cast Fire III instead of Transpose? Does Fire III immediately switch you from Umbral III to Astral III?

I wasnt saying wait a tick, just click it and start casting Blizzard 3. By the time its done casting, you'll get a tick of MP, go to Full Umbral, and pretty much go right back into rotation.

I said *IF needed*. I remember Garuda being a pain for ACC. Having to stack more than usual for her as compared to anything else. Its nice to have that extra boost to avoid a resist when other CDs are popped or during a burn phase.

Yes. And vice versa.

Fire 1 and Fire 2 says it Removes Umbral or adds Astral
Fire 3 says it Removes Umbral AND adds Astral

Blizzard 1 and Blizzard 2 says it Removes Astral or adds Umbral
Blizzard 3 says it Removes Astral AND adds Umbral

It's not optimized with way. You lost 2.5 sec (GCD after transpose) and you lost the "reduce Blizzard cost" because unlike you said it in the first msg, you only get the reduced cost if you cast a spell on the opposite buff. Casting blizzard 3 on Umbral 1-3 wont reduce anything.

Sometimes, you just cant get 100% acc. Its as simple as that. Unless you are in full on BiS gear or gear STRICTLY for ACC, you are not going to have exactly 100% hit. If you're doing dungeons, whether leveling or end game, or just farming and you are getting more resists than you'd like.. Grab it, use it, and move on.

Well i saw the topics too and you always had someone (who was not me lol) to reply what i said (at least on the beta forum and reddit). Anyway I tested both way (because it was kinda strange to me that someone talk about transpose after blizzard 3) on the dummy close to gridania during 10 min with a parser (FFXIV-APP) and "my" (not mine but you understand me) method was better. I didnt save the result but i will do it saturday if my FC gives me enough time to do it (with a video if you want to see that i didnt cheat)

Transpose is off the GCD.

I had a question regarding BLM in ARR. I am currently leveling my THM because I know that is the main requirement for unlocking BLM. (THM = 30) However, does anyone know what the second class is that needs to be leveled to 15? Any insight would be appreciated.

Arcanist is the second class (needed to become BLM) class and archer is the third (for skills only).
