That sucks. Did you get an EU PC code or NA pc code? The biggest problem is that I got wrong access code and the only way would be for SquareEnix to change it from PC to PS3. Knowing their slow support it won't happen before the release. If my CE hadn't shipped I might have cancelled my order and bought the digital PSN version. :/
I've currently got 2 EU PS3 codes that i currently cannot use.

I ordered the CE from amazon and I haven't been able to get past the error 3, for the past few days. I've tried everything that anyone's suggested, but nothing's worked for me.

Does anyone know if the second 12 digit code that you get after you register the EA is for downloading the client only? I have seen other people enter the 12 digit code who participated in phase 4 and was met with the same download they already have. These ones with the faulty code might be okay if they already have the client from phase 4. Does anyone have any info on this?

So I was able to get past error 3 yesterday morning. In the afternoon, I got an email from SE with a 12-digit code. When I tried to redeem it, it said the code was invalid or expired. This morning, I get another email from SE with the same exact code, but this one had "(PS3)" after the 12-digit code. I tried to enter the code again this morning and got "Error 80023156." From what I can tell, this means that a code has exceeded its redemption limit, but I'm not seeing the Early Access in Services under Account Management. So does that mean I need to get a new code? As swamped as they are, I'm pretty sure that SE won't get to my support ticket, so I guess I'm waiting till the 27th to play.

1. if you have the client from beta phase 4 you do not need to re download on ps3 or pcDoes anyone know if the second 12 digit code that you get after you register the EA is for downloading the client only? 2. you still need to enter the code you receive in order to add early access to you ps3 service account, (this means redeem the code but don't worry about downloading unless you don't have the client from beta phase 4) if you have the client from phase 3 you need to re-download the new client for EA.
the 12 digit code you receive is more than just a download it verifies your service account on psn, to make you everything is correct simply go to account management > transaction management > services list > FFXIV (you should see both beta and early access as services you have or have had!

For everyone getting error 3. There is a fix. Just go to your profile after you log in and change it to english (US) Yes this works.
For psn issues make sure you are entering with all caps
Easier way is to click on the dropdown arrow next to English (US) located in the upper righthand corner and choose English (US) again. It should now be at the NA site.

Did that still doesn't work even used different browser. there clearly something wrong with the site still keeps switching my account from Na to Eu or not at all but I get the same PS3 code. I sent ticket to SE support I'm number 2548327<--maybe next year I will hear from them... no update on twitter either.
Error 3 is caused by a regional glitch you need to go into settings and change the region to US/Uk (whatever region you are in)... Then you should be able to use the code... These questions were all asked in the other forum with peoples codes not working...
