Well, lucky you. Since SE is confirming via phone support now that it's a known issue that they sent many NA PS3 customers the wrong code, I highly doubt your "user error" claim.I not had one problem with SE in all these years haveing a SE account with them from FFXI beta then FFXIV 1.0 till 2.0 I'm in the eu got my correct code as I pre ordered CE from my local game store and had no problems maybe SE favor loyal customers over them that bitch about stuff all the time or maybe you all never checked the info you had for registering your EA codes for your region if that is EU/NA mainly comes down to user error at the end of the day.
Punctuation!I not had one problem with SE in all these years haveing a SE account with them from FFXI beta then FFXIV 1.0 till 2.0 I'm in the eu got my correct code as I pre ordered CE from my local game store and had no problems maybe SE favor loyal customers over them that bitch about stuff all the time or maybe you all never checked the info you had for registering your EA codes for your region if that is EU/NA mainly comes down to user error at the end of the day.
No, the issues are only for NA. Has nothing to do with following any sort of info. There was quite a few lines of bad script on that pre-order Site. So, despite people using the correct NA site with their NA SE accounts, the Web site's bad scripting caused people's accounts to switch to EU without them knowing. It's entirely the company that hosted the site's fault (which is actually not SE).
I cant believe is already the 22nd and still no word on how to fix this issue im still stuck with an EU code for my ps3 and everytime I go to my setting in SE site language is set to English (uk ), no matter how many times I fix it and save it it keep taking me to EU site grrrrrrrrr >![]()
I noticed the "new look" Square Enix Members site didn't have any of my previously registered SE games so I tried to find out why and what I discovered was this recent NA/EU community site merger that is very likely the reason behind people getting codes for the wrong region in the past few phases. Just speculation though really..
The real question is: Why haven't we heard from Square Enix about this yet? Would it be so hard for them to tell the community at large they are aware of the problem and working on it? I know that doesn't fix anything, but it's the thought that counts. ^.^ I'm not going to get bent out of shape over the 3 days of missed playtime I just want any kind of assurance that the pre-order items will be redeemable at some point.
I have gotten 5 EMAILs from SE with the same PSN code that is INVALID because it is EU oh SE please help us soon so i can get this thing done and downloaded...
Also to all who are reading this. If you are getting the EU code instead of NA code, be sure to check your profile on the "Social" site that is linked to the preorder site. From what i've seen, the registration defaults new accounts to EU, rather than giving you the option to select.
Man... after all the white knighting that went on in the beta forums telling people to "trust in SE" and "this will all be fixed. We are 36 hours away from early access and as far as I know, not a single person who got a bunk PS3 code has had it fixed yet.
Personally, I gave up and ordered the digital CE from the PSN.
Same here, NA PS3 Player with EU Codes.. only If found out it was an EU code was because I created an EU account and it went through -.- I really hope there's a fix for this soon.. don't wanna end up just using this for some other problem to pop up...
The thing that bothers me with the psn one for the reg. edition is that I wish it had the EA, mog cap, and Cait Sith Doll Minion. I think that would solve some problems I know it would mine. The regular digital pre-order edition is still available: https://store.sonyentertainmentnetwo...00010000000000
Then on the 27th you can just buy the CE digital upgrade for $19.99. You would be saving $.01 this way. Talk about an absolute deal!!
Funny it still shows that you can add the CE version to your cart: https://store.sonyentertainmentnetwo...00020000000000
