Both of my errored codes I input the PO code back on the 20th towards the beginning when I found the site had gone up through the beta forums.I've only heard success about this from people that submitted two days ago, and re-submitted yesterday with the correct region under their SE profile. Seems like anyone who had a region scripting error is stuck with an EU code. I tried to have one re-issued quite a few times yesterday, and was responded with the exact same invalid code every time, with that same code also going to my e-mail address six times.
What is there to say? I am me, and no one can change that.

Okay, then yes. Seems like everyone who has been locked in with the region-code tried to redeem yesterday, and the pre-order site scripting errors forced their SE account to be EU. If you got an EU region PS3 code confirmation yesterday at the end of the promo registration, you're likely stuck with it.

this issue is crazy I am like most of you here, but all of my codes worked just fine! I pre-ordered at my local gamestop, the EA registration code was on my receipt. As soon as I got home after pre-ordering I submitted my email on the pre-order site and was told to wait for and email with further instructions ( which I still have yet to receive).
When I heard the site for EA registration was up I didn't even try to enter my code instead I waited until people started saying they were able to get thru an decided to give it a shot. My code got Error 3 for almost 3 try's then I refreshed my URL, edited my SQuenix account with up to date info including linking my psn account, logged out and then back in, and tried my code again which then allowed me to redeem and gave me my 12 digit psn code (which worked fine on PSN)
I verified on my account management and services that my EA and FFXIV service was indeed active and ready to go, its even correct in my SQuenix account.
I don't know where the issue is or why its worked for some and not others (the world may never know)
I am NA east coast PS3 btw

-By the light of the crystal-

I have the PSN digital standard edition and my account services list ARR: early access, ARR: standard edition, and ARR: open beta. After reading a few post on here i tried to log in. The client was updated and I could sign in and accept user agreement. There was no option to link with my psn. and its says I dont have an account to play ARR. I assume its because the game hasn't started. There was also news of a 6.5 hour psn maintenance. It states the FFXIV:ARR is affected as a result. Dont know if any of that info helps but I wanted to tell someone about it anyway.
thanks.

For NA PS3 users with an invalid PlayStation Store code:
1. Get an unused preorder code (the first code you ever got, 6-3-6-3) from a friend or someone who has an extra.
2. Clear your cookies and cache, or open your browser in Private Browsing mode, and go to http://preorder.na.finalfantasyxiv.com/ Click on the US flag and log in.
3. At the top of the page, click on your account name and hover over the "My Profile" link. Make sure the link starts with "na." If the link starts with "eu.", click on "User Settings", change your language to "English (US)", log out, and go back to step 2. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until your "My Profile" link starts with "na."
4. Input your unused preorder code and select "PS3". Click "REDEEM MY CODE" and "CONFIRM". You should be presented with a new 12 digit PlayStation Store code. It should be different than your old, invalid one. Verify that it works by redeeming it through the PlayStation Store or your PlayStation Network account (click on "Redeem Prepaid Card"). If the PlayStation Store code is still invalid, verify you followed all of steps 2 and 3.
If you have any questions, please join the /r/ffxiv IRC channel and I will help you.

Is it still scripting people's accounts to be EU region? I know for me, after the fact, I had moused over my profile and it said preorder.eu.finalfantasyxiv.com rather than preorder.na.finalfantasyxiv.com like it should have. Even though the page said my language was English(NA), it still locked my region to EU. I had to go into my profile and edit my profile's language settings to English(NA) rather than English(UK). It does not matter if you have already redeemed a preorder code for PS3 before. As long as you give them a different preorder code, you will get a different 12 digit PlayStation Store code, and this time it will work.

I'm not sure if it is still. I had already changed my account to "English (US)". It's best to do it after clearing your cookies and cache (or using Incognito mode on Chrome or Private Browsing mode on Firefox.)Is it still scripting people's accounts to be EU region? I entered my code yesterday, and the profile sites seemed to switch between EU and NA at random. I have received now 3 emails from SE with the same 12-digit code. The first email wasn't region-specific, but the last two have come from the noreply@xmail.eu.square-enix.com address. Guess I'll just have to cancel my order on Amazon and pre-order on PSN. Want to do that too to get EA. But I ordered the CE from SEI entered my code yesterday, and the profile sites seemed to switch between EU and NA at random. ^This doesn't help me at all since all my friends ordered their game thru PSN. I spent months getting few friends to try ffxiv out they all liked the beta so they got it thru Psn store. I had order mine from SE NA store on May 24th . The website was fine then it wasn't till SE updated the members site that caused this issue. The fault is with SE they need to fix it an issue proper codes for the correct region. For PS3 users with an invalid PlayStation Store code: If you have a friend or someone who has an extra preorder code (the first code, 6-3-6-3), go to http://preorder.na.finalfantasyxiv.com/ and redeem the new one for PS3 and it will give you a working 12 digit PlayStation Store code.
