The site is still giving me the same code, and that same code still isn't working.

The site is still giving me the same code, and that same code still isn't working.

Finally set after getting a new code from Amazon. Didn't like Ordering then canceling, though.
The problem is, when we first pre-ordered the game, we entered our emails addresses on the site to be notified when to redeem our codes. Even though the link in our emails was na.preorder.etc, the ACTUAL web url was eu.preorder.etc. I know this because when I tried to change the eu. to na. in the url box, it just refreshed the eu. in the url.
I don't know when the correction was addressed, but I will guess it was around the time of Beta Phase 4. I was able to speak with a SE rep last night (of course after waiting for 2 hours) and have understood that this affects everyone who entered their email address on the preorder site prior to August.
I'm very disappointed that there is no guarantee that this situation can be resolved in time for EA, and I feel sorry for the lot of PS3 players that have to endure this madness.
We have paid money for a product and for services. There is a principle here that needs to be acknowledged by SE and no more of these meaningless "we apologize" responses. With everything that has happened between the start of Beta phase 4 until now, let this be evidence as to why you should never plan for a smooth rendition and wait until the last minute. If we started redeeming EA codes 2 weeks ago even, this might have been fixed with more fluidity and less anxiety.
We are all clamoring for this game to be released, which makes me fear that the developers are rushing things and not crossing their T's and dotting their I's.
Players experiencing issues have every right to be upset, but don't forget there is a lot more pressure on the team at SE to not only put forward a successful game, but to please as many players as they can. They can certainly do a better job in that respect. It's been a bit over two days and I have yet to see any dev respond to this issue, even if it's just an update, at least it's something.

They've updated everyone but the ps3 people stuck getting their dam EU codes because they behaved like its so hard to separate NA from EU. Even the tickets say "oh just try again" like we haven't been trying since god know when. If they can address everyone else they should be addressing us and not waiting to the last minute before everyone can get in gameThe problem is, when we first pre-ordered the game, we entered our emails addresses on the site to be notified when to redeem our codes. Looks like someone is bringing this subject to light on twitter: https://twitter.com/FF_XIV_EN/status/370685101694148608. Maybe others should voice their opinions as well? Looks like they referred to the other 30 page thread too.

My PS3 code still isn't working *invalid code* I also have a EU code.

i did and got the same pre-order code.
same code here as well
Here's my solution that I think SE will implement. Currently if you get a new preorder code, it will work now because the site errors have been fixed. Since the traffic to the preorder site has diminished a lot, they (SE or Sony) are going to wipe the part of the database that stores the psn codes that everyone has already received. This will allow us to re-enter the preorder codes in the correct region and get a working psn code. I think they will implement this later today to make sure that all that have preorder codes unused yet can still get their codes without issues. I think they are waiting in case things turn out for the worst. But this seems like it would work.
