No valid or active service account is available to play FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Re

I don't have a PSN account so I can't see anything.

Here's what I read:

If you pre-order FFXIV: A Realm Reborn from a participating retailer and register the pre-order code within the specificied time period, you will be granted access to play FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn prior to the official launch!

With Early Access only days away now please make sure to redeem your preorder code and download the client, so that you are ready on Saturday August 24th when Early Access Starts.

You can now redeem your pre-order code and download the game to prepare for early access, which begins on August 24th, 2013

No Code? No early access. Where does it say you get Early Access Automatically through PSN? Does anyone have a link?

I bought the game in PSN and used the client from PSN to play beta 4. I'm not a legacy player and never played 1.0, but as far as I know, PSN pre-orders DO NOT need a code since we get Early Access automatically (We all PS3 users can check this in our PSN Account Manager). Nevertheless, I'm getting this message as well.

SquareEnix, please let us know what is going on! I bought this last week precisely because I wanted to play both beta 4 and Early Access.

I just hope the developer team reads this and somehow give us some kind of response.

Char Limit

The problem is that you don't have a PSN account and therefore, don't understand the mechanics of how this works on the PSN. Those that Pre-ordered from the PSN are not given a number to redeem online and then put back into the PSN. Instead, they skip the middle man and their early access is then listed under their services list for FFXIV. Some people have been able to log to the client. Others have not even though, early access is listed under their services list.

Wow! Thanks for that! I really had no clue what you were talking about with the early access stuff. And you downloaded the game after checking out and it says that you have no Valid service account. I only know the PC side of things so I always thought that to get a service account you need to enter a product code of some sort. That's why I was so confused when you said you didn't need one... but there it is. Maybe this is what the PSN update is for, but that is really confusing.

@HiirNoivl I appreciate your help, but let me try again, to help you understand.

1). We pre-ordered through PSN. Upon doing so, we get the Game, Early Access and Pre-order Items.

2). Once you buy, everything from the game to Early Access goes to your Service List under your PSN Account. Upon purchasing, you also get a notice saying "The game is released on the 27th, but instead of coming here, you can download now to prepare for Early Access which starts 5:01 .a.m.(Depending on your TZ).

3). Now, I'm looking at my Service List on PSN and I see 3 things. FFXIV(Open Beta), FFXIV(Early Access) and FFXIV(Collectors Edition).

Okay, I'm a non-leagacy, non 1.0 player. I did however play the closed beta and the open beta, both on the PS3. I preordered the game awhile back. Yesterday, i enetered my Pre-Order code into the website and it redeemed it and gave it me a 12 digit code. Today I got an email from SE confirming that I redeemed my code. The email has the same 12 digit code and info that I got yesterday after entering the preorder code form the receipt.

I checked my SE profile and it shows A Realm Reborn PS3 added to my registered games. I just went and tried to login on the PS3 launcher. It updated and I agreed to the 2 User Agreements. Then when I logged in it says "Novalid or active service account.........". The launcher also noted that PSN is down for maintenance.

I didn't enter the code and download the client, because I already have the client from Open Beta. Do I have to Download it again?
Is this problem due to the PSN maintenance?

Go in to download the game and enter your code and see if that works.
