I don't have any FFXIV drawings at the moment, I really want to get some done when I have some free time. I dunno if my style really fits it but I can share a few other drawings I've done until I can get some FFXIV works in. Hopefully no one hates on the World of Warcraft, Battle of the Immortals, and TERA characters I post here. Not trying to hi-jack or anything but feel like posting and hope that's okay!

Who says you can't be both scientific AND artistic? It's not necessarily a one or the other type thing. I draw and I'm a physicist.

Here's my latest work of my wife's character. Shared it on Twitter several days ago already but I'll repost it here.

I'm not saying you can't be both, just in my case i'm one side, not the other and not both.

You should really read a book called 'drawing on the right side of the brain'. It has a really scientific (mostly in the psych field though, if that's considered a science, I'm not sure) approach to drawing things.

I'll have to look in to that once i finish my part time studies.

"Drawing on the right side of the brain" is a really good book. I can only recommend it. Other than that try James Gurney's "Colour and Light" or Andrew Loomis' "Figure Drawing".

This one is really really old, with a running gag from my LS that not even my LS understands anymore, I guess. :P
But it's the only thing I've got, so run and hide or burn your eyes. >: D

And another reflection of my shameful admiration. It's too late to deny it now, anyways.
