Concerns about new character creation restrictions

But will they give the free passes? It would be nice if you would get a one time pass or something so that you can transfer once for free.

In FF11 it was an item you bought from an NPC in-game - it was something semi-reasonable. the gold pass had other perks/benefits so cost 1k gil.
It also had a 1 week cooldown IIRC - aka had to wait 7 days before you could invite someone else. Gold pass was longer. 1 month? D:

Pretty much its sole purpose was to get you into the server. if you were transferring, you had to pay for the transfer yourself. It simply let you in through the door but it was up to you how you got there.
