I rip the axe from the head Covered in blood and brains Leave the body lying dead Ready to strike again
My sword cuts through clothes and skin Like a hot knife cuts through snow I smile as the bastard screams When I twist my sword
Sword in my hand Axe on my side Valhalla awaits me Soon I will die Bear skin on my back Wolf jaw on my head Valhalla awaits me When I'm dead
Viking Job Please!
they created there engine from scratch and no one complained about it with ffxiii, and it would take years to make the game over mmo's have a ton of stuff.
they need to start working on it, seem like there milking it to me, 6months and very little stuff they done and no content added.
yeah they do have alot to lose, there already loseing money letting us play for free. everyone still has to get paid, project needs money for that and licence's & toolsat this point in my opinion they don't have anything to lose.

That's why I suggested this. It seems like they are seeing how long they can make us hold on.they created there engine from scratch and no one complained about it with ffxiii, and it would take years to make the game over mmo's have a ton of stuff.

So them forcing everyone to quit will improve the game how.
All I get out of the OP is he wants the game to fail already.
2nd question why is this thread not locked yet... mods are failing.
Ah you went back and edited your post after I posted (check the times).
They have a lot to lose, like their entire player base. If the servers are up there are people who can tell others with certainty when it is fixed and how well the fixes went,
If they shut down the servers for more than a month people would go find other MMOs and it would be incredibly hard to get them back.
Milking? Milking what LOL. It is not like their FFXIV cow is giving any milk (subscription fees) at the moment. So the whole fact that they are keeping the servers online should give any of you enough confidence that Square Enix is serious about FFXIV and that they are going to make it work. There is no other explanation for this. They are PUMPING their OWN money into FFXIV at the moment and I am sure they wouldn't do that if they didn't have fate in Yoshi.
You guys that keep saying it has been 7 months since release should think twice before writing such crap. Yes, it has been 7 months since release, but the guy that took over and the guy that is doing a complete overhaul only is there for 3 months ... 3 months is NOTHING if you see what they are planning to change. You guys are simply clueless and ignorant. most of you didn't even play the game for longer than 2 minutes probably.
You know, the whole fact you trolls are still posting here only shows the strong influence and power of the whole Final Fantasy franchise. If this was any other game you already would have forgotten about it. So call us fanboys, but you are not that different ....
I am defending SE and I think FFXIV will be great in the future if we give it time. However, if they decide to take the servers offline for whatever reason (I doubt they ever will ... just saying IF) I will leave and never come back. So that coming from someone that is branded a fanboy should tell you something right?
But people are already leaving it to find other MMOs. Myself included. That's not to say I won't be back to FFXIV.Ah you went back and edited your post after I posted (check the times).

And I didn't edit it after you posted, I was editing it as you posted yours because I accidentally posted mine. Hadn't read yours until after I had finished editing. Anyway, that's besides the point.
I suppose they would have less of a chance at getting players back, so I agree with you there. But as it is now, they are at a higher chance of losing the players they actually have. I really really hope they fix everything and make me want to play FFXIV again.
The people who like the game will stay and those who dislike the game will leave. There are people (myself included) who actually have fun with the game as it is now. I know the game isn't perfect but it will only get better. Shutting down the servers would force even those who currently enjoy the game to leave.
Wow. No need to be rude and mean. We are discussing our opinions. If you can't do so in a civilized and mature matter, I suggest you leave. And if you look at my signature, I am sure you can tell I have spent more than 2 minutes playing FFXIV, not to mention if you read the actual posts I started playing on the day of the release. I even invested in the limited edition. (Even though it wasn't even being sold in my country, and had to buy it from another.) That is how excited I was.Milking? Milking what LOL. Now, I have sadly gotten bored. Hey, I will be HAPPY to be proven wrong. That means I'll go back to a game I had been looking forward to for a long time.
And since when is posting opinion and discussing trolling? This community sure is fast to throw the troll card.
The OP does indeed want the game to fail. Placing all hope on a relaunch built around no player feedback is just asking for it to fail all over again. A re-enactment of the first launch. It's essentially risking all chances of ever redeeming itself.
With patches we can see what they are upto and voice our opinions accordingly. Asking them to shutoff from the playerbase and release something that promises to magically fixes everything is blind faith.
