Thank you for being mature and actually posting your opinion. Don't get me wrong I am hoping he fixes everything just I don't see many people coming back after the wait with all the games coming out this year.People are really naive to believe that the game is fixed with a couple of patches.
When XIV was released i could understand and probably agree to what you said but at the moment i give all of my hopes to Yoshi.
I would wait like 4-6 Month, if the game isnt like you want, than it might be nothing for ya but thats the time i think were XIV should have fun Content.
I rip the axe from the head Covered in blood and brains Leave the body lying dead Ready to strike again
My sword cuts through clothes and skin Like a hot knife cuts through snow I smile as the bastard screams When I twist my sword
Sword in my hand Axe on my side Valhalla awaits me Soon I will die Bear skin on my back Wolf jaw on my head Valhalla awaits me When I'm dead
Viking Job Please!

I was pretty much dissapointed when i played, i played the Beta and thought "well it is a beta".
I bought the CE, only to see that "i payed for a Beta?"
Nobody need to defend the Game, it was horrible at release ( it was an Apocalyptic Catastrophe), now it is pretty much the Content, its a simple fact and people have different tastes.
But since Yoshi took over, i have high hopes.
But you are definitely right, many people probably wont come back exept those who look after the game because of the Patches.
And it is too much to ask the people to wait, even when its free.
If XIV fails to bring good Content in the time i suggest (and I mean Content that evereyone dissapoint wich I highly doubt), then they probably better off to shut down and work on a new "XIV", but Yoshi is Jesus, he will just raise from the dead.
