Selecting a main character

I had to go SE forum to ask how to select main character, found that someone else had to ask already.

Yeah, I was clicking the box and hitting save several times wondering why it wasn't working, before I finally thought to try the star, lol.

I'd be embarrassed about how long it took me to figure out how to set my main character if the process wasn't so counter-intuitive..
