either way, the region code is stupid. if they let us play in ANY servers when it launch, what is the point of region codes? Why can't they just issue region free codes to be less hassle

like B******* company for example, 1 game, 1 region (except china) , no hassle and trouble at all.

Getting the same error and tried switching regions but it's still not working for me, I hope this gets solved soon and does not interfere with early access...

Bump for wrong region for PS3 code. Opened a ticket but I'm not holding my breath. The method to switch profile settings from English UK to English US won't work for PS3 peeps. It will just keep sending you the same exact early access code.

That worked perfect, I thought because it showed up in my profile, I was done. NOPE. Retried your steps and BINGO, 20 digit code for the registration for my actual account giving me the bonus items. Thank you for this.

Does anyone know if the pre-order items will be available to all characters associated with the account it's registered to? On PS3 after logging into the launcher I can go through options to link the items but only 1 character shows up under options (which isn't my main character).

Has anyone been having issues registering the Early Access code?

I've tried again today and still comes up with that error. The codes are valid. I already have the 20-digit Early Access Code for the NA version starting with "RAAU".

I've already tried changing region or language, nothing works.

I really hope they fix the Error 3 code soon. I tried to redeem my code at 04:30 EST this morning, when everyone in the US is asleep, and STILL got the Error 3 code. That tells me that it's not only a congestion issue. I also still can't access my Square Enix Membership account to try the language fix.

I created 2 cases with Tech support. They blew off the first one, telling me to try later. I created another one this morning. Hopefully this gets fixed so I can play tomorrow.

the ps3 codes that i have seen dont have the raau/raae thing...it seems to be a random string of 4 numbers and letters. And a number of us are receiving the message "the code you are entering is not valid or is already in use" does not say anything about a regional issue.

No it doesn't. There is no way short of contacting someone from PSN to determine if it is in fact the wrong region. Sometimes also, it may take some time for the code to work on PSN as well. i had a code that was not working, but after a day it worked.
