I thought the Error3 message was the UK code problem and that it was fixed. After I followed the steps listed by the OP everything went through smooth as silk for me. An offical announcement would be nice.

For the memory of a lifetime. Recall Recall Recall
It would probably be a good idea to add how PS3 players can confirm that they have Early Access instated on their SEN (PSN) accounts.
Click on 'Account Management' on the PlayStation Network tab on the Xross Media Bar.
Then, click on 'Transaction Management'.
Then, click on 'Service List'.
Then, click on Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn.
The user should see "Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn Early Access" listed there.
I asked it on a couple of places, but... What about the Legacy Player? I did not received a code, nor a download link, under the account management I can see only Final Fantasy XIV 1.0 and the Legacy logo.
Any idea how Legacy player will play the early access?
got my code this morning seemed to register without any trouble
according to beta forum, no further action is needed, just login to p4 client.

oh It does say on the playstation 3 under transactions it's there. just no idea how to link the accounts haha
Is it known if 1.0 owners (non-legacy) who got the PS3 preorder, will be able to play on their PC during early access?
Account will be link when you log in the PS3 client when the head start starts
2 Different things normal 1.0 do not have Head Start so if you did a PS3 preorder and registered your code on the preorder website as PS3 then you can only use PS3 in the head startIs it known if 1.0 owners (non-legacy) who got the PS3 preorder, will be able to play on their PC during early access?
thank you Whippet!!
