And of course, the TOP dps has got to be BLM. Has anyone ever seen that hard mode titan video of a black mage doing Fire I for 500+ damage and Fire III for 800+ and Blizzard III for 350-400...these are not even crits. Bards are lucky to hit more than 300 crits. Honestly, BLM edges all DPS out. Hands down. Played well, mechanics or not, specific fight or not, BLM offer a lot more pure damage over bards/drg/mnk from what I've seen in terms of numbers.

Omg 500 damage after 2.5 second cast?

Too bad my monk has only .6 seconds GCD doing 300-400 damage per skill excluding auto attack speed and dots.
