Black Mage: The unquestioned King of AoE damage. Nobody can AoE for high damage as long as a Black Mage can. Some classes can keep up for a little bit but run out of TP (Bard, ahem). Single target a Black Mage gets really big hits. But their cast time is longer than the GCD and they have no off GCD attacks. I, a Bard, have been running with a Black Mage regularly the past two days for Amdapor and neither of us is willing to claim that one of us is doing more DPS.

Summoner: Our parses in Castrum, Praetorium and Ifrit show Summoners being competitive but a little bit behind. Our parses also aren't picking up all of the damage abilities that our Summoners are using. We estimate that Summoner does slightly above curve damage with the abilities that aren't being counted.


Now which class does the most DPS? According to parses it is too difficult to tell at the moment. They are all over the place and we have varying levels of gear.
