Just wondering because if we had an Auction House this wouldnt be an issue.

I have 8 crafts at 50. All I did was watch T.V. and spam standard for easy mode synths. Enjoy leveling those crafts in 1.19 and beyond everyone!
ITT: december?
My retainers have been up since the last maintenance, which is becoming more and more common.
They're working on a way to keep the retainers up over maintenance and crashes.
You can't assume that just because XI's AH didn't crash often that XIV's wouldn't...sadly.
Market wards have crashed 2-3 times today on lindblum. I heard about them trying to fix it, whatever they have done hasnt solved it.ITT: december?

FYI, in the 4-5 years I played FFXI, I don't think I ever heard of or saw the Auction House going down.ITT: december?

They've physically closed it a few times, moved it's servers around, partial maintenance and even over congestion back in its prime where you get kicked out of it.
Wards reset a lot more than crash from what I've seen.
Crash/Reset are basically the same thing. They have done it alot more than any I have seen, that was the point in my posting.
Yes i think we all noticed that the FFXIV Devs shouldn't have even touched(Or been paid for that matter) an MMO style play with all the bad points about the game and not taking good points from previous games(Not just 11 but the basic Final Fantasy series). The game was clearly rushed and it is very noticable.Again, those were FFXI developers. These are XIV developers. Clearly the XIV developers have generated an insane amount of errors in their coding across the board from the ground up. You can't assume the difference in crashing is due to the difference in style. In fact, it's probably not.
I'm not saying I 110% hate it like 90% of posters on here that only have low level jobs, having a 49 CON and crafts at decent levels I can say I have tried most if not all aspects the game has to offer currently. Yet I still play because It keeps me entertained. I just hope they better the way the game is par say.
I think I've seen the AH go down about twice, however that was during the DDOS attack I believe.

Since unlike the AH/Search server of XI, in XIV people are actually physically utilizing it compared to just accessing a search system, so without optimization, it won't be the most stable thing ever.
