Actually, only bought it for Early access and to give the spare key and DVD to my partner who has decided to play beside me :-)

I wanted the physical goodies in the CE, and that also included the Mog Cap and Cait Sith Doll Minion. I had everything else already.

I haven't played games with a "cash shop", but I think most of them limit what you can do unless you buy something. Like making you buy guildleve allowances, or monthly rent of inventory space, or primal battle tickets. I don't like that kind of thing.

yeah that's true, they turn into cash whores quick that way too. Although I did put some time into SWTOR and they did a good job of it. Subscribers got an allowance, but could add cash as well, and when you're a subscriber, all the things like the inventory slots could be purchased with ingame credits. most of the stuff to buy on the store was cosmetic so the monthly allowance covers whatever you need.
