I was just looking at the roadmap for the Beta phases for FFXIV: ARR and noticed something I had forgot about. It says "Charaters created during this phase will be carried over to the official release." My question is, would my level 40 PLD from V1.0 be able to actually gain exp and level during Beta phase 4, or is it purely for new characters?
