Pre-order code mistake?

Oh oh oh...my code is also 18 characters long! Le Gasp! I pre-ordered from Gamestop (after originally pre-ordering from Amazon). So we just have to put them into some other thing-y and then we'll receive the 20-character code-y-wode-y?

Or is it possible that only the Japanese keys are 20-characters, and all else are 18, and this has just been a typo sent from the underworld?

Lucke, I got my code about 24 hours after ordering (in May) (Amazon NA). It came in a separate email with a subject of "Promotional Code" or something. I'll look for it so I can tell you for sure.

I actually got a code from SE store too (it was included IN the order confirmation email). But I since cancelled that pre-order and switched to Amazon (for PS3 CE) once we found out we could not add another PC code to an existing PC account.

EDIT: Here is the email they sent me with subject: Your Amazon.com Promotional Code on May 29, 2013. As I said above, this email came 24 hours after placing my order and receiving my order confirmation email.

@Magnesium - I'm honestly not sure on that; I registered on day 1 but with a buddy pass, so that went right into my SE accounts page as if I was registering a brand new copy of the game D:.

Though if they did make you register with members, then send you another email with the 20digit code, that's cool too.
I guess I'm just super antsy with release being only just around the corner now @_@ and this is the first time I've done a game pre-order, usually I wait for games to hit the sale rack or if it's an MMO-type I'll get a regular copy at release lol.

I just saw that post. Suffice to say if you have Beta access, click on Dev Tracker. Currently it's the top, most recent post by Bayohne at around 1pm today.

Legacy members won't, but SE opened up posting access to these forums for all v1 during the world transfer process. If VGChartz is to be believed, Legacy members are a small percentage of v1 copies sold. I'm hoping a lot of non-Legacy have pre-ordered and are needing to register their code.
