all legacy and pre-order get early access new account get 1 month free and all 1.0 players get 2 weeks free. I believe this was said few weeks ago.

With the beginning of official service on 8/27, we will be implementing a two-week long Welcome Back Campaign for those of you who have a FFXIV 1.0 service account, regardless if you are a Legacy Member or if you have Collector’s Edition/Standard Edition. During this time period you can try out FFXIV: ARR for free, so please take this opportunity to check out the game!

Once the date draws closer we will be announcing the details on the Lodestone as well as sending out an email from the development team.

Let's say I purchased the the collector's edition for Version 1.0 and also have Legacy status. If I purchase the standard PS3 version and register it to my account, does the 30 day trial apply to my account, or would I have to make a new account.

Actual free access is still tied to the purchase of the game and its application to your service account. So they are two different things.

Ya i forgot that it's a fix 2 weeks and not a 2week free when every you start.
