They might have gotten a few minor points wrong, but instead of whining on these forums, why not post in the comments on the XIV Reborn page and let them know so they will do a better show next time?

I have tried, like many others. A forum moderator on their site (her name started with a Q if i remember) would talk back at you and lock your thread if you brought up any criticism. Even on the beta forums there are folks who have brought up how rude their forum staff are.

They did do a good show, but its hard to forget how mean they were to us "the fans." Telling us how stupid we are for playing 1.0. Talking crap about a very meaningful End of an Era video. They didn't understand it but still spoke of it like it was a waste of time. I won't forget that...

This is true, their forum staff are ridiculous. Nobody posts there and its no wonder.

I was hearing...cus I am still in a boring meeting XD
but that thing get me so mad I wanna sign up an account and explain it.
The most offended me was actually, if you are not sure or don't know, please just say I'm not sure. Not pretend "I'm the expert" and continue blah blah blah 3 mistakes in a roll...

for ppl didn't hear it his main mistake:
1. SE account can only hold one ff14 PC and one PS3 account. Wrong can up to 8. doesn't matter to which plateform.
2. So 1.0 standard account holder has to use the available PS3 account to get the in game item. Wrong. If you setup additional PS3 account, you won't get the in game items for your 1.0 standard account char.
3. There is no ff14 PC account or ff14 PS3 account. Only FF14 account. that's it....but I'm not sure what the account will look like after you link PS3 account to it tho.

Correct answer for 1.0 standard account holder must get PS3 CE to get all the benefits [I think] is because SE received lots complain the previous CE contain 2 codes: item code and account code that's confusing. [truth here] Then, they made another mistake that combine it. So, now in order to get the in-game item, you have to get the new account -> you can't add to your old 1.0 standard account. and it's LINK PS3 to your old account, not make PS3 account for it. hopes no one will follow his suggestion.

Perhaps I'm stating the obvious... but apparently chief currahee is not alone. There is a similar plant advertising the show in Beta forum.

I started the thread on the beta forums as well, I'm not a plant. I'm just trying to get outside official/beta forum support for the game.

I'm not happy with the way GB.tv handled FFXIV news/comments through the ver 1.x updates and ver 2.0 sneak peaks. I wanted us fans to be there in force to show support for the game, and to correct them when they report something inaccurate.

Hey there, I am not a fan of Curse. Normal people join companies like TGN, Machinima and Curse to protect their youtube channel. Accusing them of promoting evil and hatred is miss-placed. Curse do deserve some hate but at the end of the day they shut down a dead website. Why did it die? The creation of this official forum killed Core back in March 2011.

P.S. Just want to point out GBTV is not affiliated with Curse it was one of the guest hosts.
