Just so you know, they said they would NOT implement in game spoken chat but that players were free to pursue their own out of game methods of spoken communication. In game spoken chat requires moderation, which is very difficult without written logs of all that is said, and encouraging players go go with Ventrillo/TeamSpeak/etc takes that responsibility off of SE's shoulders. I too do not use spoken chat so I am very happy that it isn't mandatory (which it would quickly become if every pick up group suddenly had access to such tools by default) ^_^
