I am deaf player and fan of Final Fantasy series, I am legacy player and I am very exciting to see much improve in Final Fantasy XIV ARR! I believe in you become success this game. However, It got my attention that you will implement for teamspeak or other program for them to use mic talk over to other player, I felt that it oppressed to Deaf and Hard of Hearing players (community) that they can not hear, therefore the group, party, linkshell may not use insert the text chat box. They will consider us lousy player or noobs, it big concern for me to see their abuse kick out player if they do not have MICS. I was hope that MICS are not Implement in the game. Otherwise do you have anything to offer for us to Deaf and Hard of Hearing community to rest assured from other player being abuse to kick them out due they do not have MICS ?
Thank you

Just so you know, they said they would NOT implement in game spoken chat but that players were free to pursue their own out of game methods of spoken communication. In game spoken chat requires moderation, which is very difficult without written logs of all that is said, and encouraging players go go with Ventrillo/TeamSpeak/etc takes that responsibility off of SE's shoulders. I too do not use spoken chat so I am very happy that it isn't mandatory (which it would quickly become if every pick up group suddenly had access to such tools by default) ^_^I am deaf player and fan of Final Fantasy series, I am legacy player and I am very exciting to see much improve in Final Fantasy XIV ARR! Will duty finder be limited to light parties like it was in beta phase 3 or will it also include higher level raids that need 8 members such as ifrit, garuda and king moogle in 1.0 or will higher level raids be created manually by players only?

How will group crafting be implemented? Building airships were mentioned before, more details?
All credit goes to the amazing Niqote!

What EXACTLY transfers from Phase 4 to official service? Quest progression, story progression, job progression? Or just our appearance will transfer to release?

When will character re-customization take place? During Phase 4, Early Release, or Official Release?

My Question:
Arcanist has 2 Carbuncles can you explain the differences & uses?
Also
Scholar has 2 Fairys can you explain the differences & uses?
Please like for the question not for the answered questions below
Also to answer some Questions that have been previously answered by reps or Yoshi:
Yes, Relic weapons, will be able to be leveled up as level caps increase Via Quests.
Yes they are currently looking into getting all current jobs a second job path.

As its not NDA anymore, Yes that system is already in there (also buys back other stuff)
As its not NDA anymore, Duty finder can be used in a party or solo to fill ALL gaps needed to do quests, guildhests, dungeons, side quests, primal battles e.t.c. So basicly its used for everything.

Character data can be transferred over from Beta Phase 4 to launch, and on launch a character edit flag will be activated for 1.0 players giving them a chance to change their character's appearance once.
We're still deciding whether all this will take place during early access or on August 27th, and will update you once we know more.
