He told me of a personal issue which I am NICE enough not to express, but I'm pretty sure it led to partial insanity. I wish I was kidding. I'm not bashing on him, but it doesn't mean he needs to take his past out on me. I have a good idea as to where this whole love bit stands from. I feel bad for the member though. Wait do you have the link to it or was it taken down Crimen?

Nope, the threat was towards another person who also said thy didn't know them so they don't have any real threat. Although since it was a google+ community post, which I can't link you to since, ya know, links don't exist, I can quote some things written. He did mention you at the very start though.

Also everything that Dav posted I agree with, these things can start off as annoyances but if not handled and the person gets too "involved" with or without your help things could get even worse. Do everything you can to document every interaction attempt he makes and build yourself a case. Have your friends do so as well. Submit it all to SE and if the situation grows even more out of hand more extreme methods are recommended.

I know you won't want to hear this, but hurting an abuser will likely just cause him or her to run off and hurt people even more. If he has the blame problem I mentioned, then he will likely go and hurt someone else even worse just because it will make him feel better. The answer is to get abusers banned, not be a vigilante. Even if he deserves it, we need to build the case and let the mods handle it. If they don't respond, a restraining order from a US Judge can be applied to social networks.

I did take it too seriously, but its important info, especially in the case of physical abusers. A lot of times an abused woman's father and brothers will go beat up the boyfriend. This usually results in disaster. It makes the woman feel sorry for the abuser. The abuser then will then try to be "reformed" for awhile. Unfortunately without an understanding that love is not control.....the abuser will eventually start hitting again. It may be weeks or months but you better believe that the abuser has the time he was beat up in the back of his (or her!) head.

Of course we aren't dealing with a physical abuse case here (thank goodness), but the principles involved are the same. Vigilantism leads to tragedy. So I would recommend to everyone that you don't attack this person in game.

Again you took my comment WAY too seriously. Talia is a friend of mine aswell a decent ammount of people on Hyperion. I am moving servers so it makes since I create a character on that server to keep in touch(stalk) with them. As for Bastok, I wish to have no interactions with him neither good or bad so he'd be added to my blist before I even finish the opening cutscenes.

I get no enjoyment from causing others pain, emotional or physical. My only source of enjoyment is fun and laughter among friends and helping others no matter what the issue may be. I don't need a run down of the consequences of harming others because I have experienced a lot of that stuff first hand IRL so I am more than aware of them. >.>;

Vil makes a very good point.

If the person commenting on your blog is indeed the same one who has been harassing you, and if that character hasn't also been banned yet he can still probably see everything you are posting here.

I wouldn't go out of your way to find things he is saying to other people, and I certainly wouldn't do so quite this openly, it just validates his obsession. He doesn't care about the nature of the attention, he is still validated by it.

The absolute best thing you can do is ignore him. Document any time he tries to contact you, but don't respond, and tell your friends not to respond either.

It's also probably a pretty good idea to let this thread die. This type of venting is probably better done in a more private venue.
