Can I go off topic for a second here to wish that I had a hat with a pen-sheath?

First off, do we really know if Louisoix is dead? Second, they never recovered a body, so even if he is dead he wouldn't have a known grave to turn over in. Third, why do they have to be related to Louisoix? Perhaps their grandfather is a yet unknown character. I'm willing to bet they're from Sharlayan, or maybe a distant land with strong ties to Eorzea. Maybe through them we'll finally get a Lore Library!
I also wonder how human they are (by that I mean "of the 5 races"). True, silver hair is even available to player characters, but in their case it looks like a sign that they aren't normal. Japanese culture tends to mark demons or otherworldly beings with silver hair. I feel they are on our side, but this notion has me thinking they transcend the rest of us in some way beyond their abundant knowledge.
They remind me a little of Palom and Porom, although Alphinaud is not nearly as cocky as Palom and Alisae is not nice enough to be Porom. They also look like Neve Campbell (which isn't relevant, I know, but I like her).

No, this is what *they* want you to think.
And hence...
*dons Darksteel Foil Hat*
their grandfather must be none other than Nael Van Darnus.
also, the girl's gonna turn evil half way through and try to revive her dead grandfather

1st... I doubt Darnus is that old lol
2nd Why the hell should a proud Garlean send his grandchildren to Sharlavan? XD
so that is absolutly impossible ;p

Hey, I wasn't being wholly serious, but if you want to party, I'm ready for you!
1) The grandfather of my children is 44. Also, we have no idea how old Nael is. There's no reason to think he's not 50-60 years old.
2) a) Who said he sent them? They could either have gone of their own accord or been sent by their parents and b) Sharlayan is well-known for its knowledge. There could be no better place for education in Eorzea! This kind of thing happens here on Earth quite regularly.
Absolutely impossible? Not by a long shot. Improbable? Only if you're not wearing a Darksteel Foil Hat.![]()

I agree. I think there's more to them than being grand children of Louisoix. That's just TOO obvious.. I sense a huge plot twist in coming with these two.First off, do we really know if Louisoix is dead? Second, they never recovered a body, so even if he is dead he wouldn't have a known grave to turn over in. Third, why do they have to be related to Louisoix? Maybe they're the Snurble primal I keep wanting to happen.
Until I'm told otherwise, this is what I'm going to believe.
