To avoid getting the account locked I would recommend setting up the one time password key.
If the ps3 is set up like the xbox was her SE account will be linked to her PSN. She should be able to log into PSN and then get on the game at ur place.

This would obviously be exceedingly inconvenient if I wished to use the account to double-box during times she isn't playing. So I guess also using it to double-box is just out of the question then.
It's not out of the question if you don't attach a security token on it. Yes, it does lock you out when it detects a new IP address, but its just a matter of changing the pw from there. Next time she visits, it won't lock her out anymore, since it's already detected the IP. I've traveled quite a bit back to my mom's for the holidays and have no trouble. It only locked me out the first time I tried to log in from her place.
