There's an image floating around the internet. Google "Just because you are unique does not mean you are useful".

"It's unique" is a poor reason to keep a convoluted system.

just becaused some claim something is useful don't actually mean it is. I never liked the AH system. I never had an easy time getting gear i wanted/needed on any game with an AH in it. I spent weeks hunting for items for quests, gear, spells. I never had an easy time making money either. My stuff never sold. And I did all sorts of stuff to make gil/gold/ money.
