my real reason i think AH are relic system

they rely to heavy on stationary menues which prevents any form of communication. You gotta wait to load any tab to check if any gear is there. Either by a slow search or low load tabs. It also monoploized item prices. once an item has a set value it tends to stay there. Like Leaping boots were 200K for years and ppl got forced to buy them cuz the nm was so heavily camped. Same for scop harness. Me personally, I checked bazaars first. A few times I did get lucky and bought something. I'd also thank the player if I ran a bazaar and they bought something. I also made friends from bazaaring.

I like interaction/interactive activities more then menues. LIke fable 3's sancuray is fun ti chill in vs a star menue. Items feel more realistic in a sence as you see a full 3d form rather then a picture. Bazaar menues are kinda interactive I check whats for sale. Then leave.

trin I was stating if I had to pick I like ffxi ah better.
And also trin most other games AH's are interconnected ffxi wasn't.

the games I played w/o AH that had pretty decent sized player base Mabinogi, Maple story, perfect world international. And several others. PWI got a huge player base also. And has been running for a good while.
I like shops better then AH. Only saving grace is in Aion the brokers were ultra cute. :3 like moogles w/o wing and the pom pom on their head.

    My answers are in bold.

    - You want it? Right click it and buy it (It's now in your inventory) Most people have no problems going to the retainer
    - Want to sell it? Right click it and list price (It's now on the broker) With the addition of returning your retainer to wards coming soon, this point will be moot.
    - Want to know what you look like before you buy it? Right Click + CTRL I don't know what you mean by this, does it show the 3D model of the item? If so, that could be added to the search list for the markets.
    - Want to know how much an item is you have but you don't want to type out the name? Right click it and it appears in the search box. We could get this if they add search to markets, but this isn't really a need.
    - Want to know the stats? Highlight it and it will show you what it has in a pop up bubble The stats are shown when you search in the markets.
    - Who is selling it? Names are listed so give them a whisper so you can haggle some prices~Good idea, but I wouldn't bother haggling anyone. To each their own.
    - Auction house is connected throughout the entire server This could come in a future update. Also the markets weren't connected in FFXI.
    - Alleviates lag in many different aspects I've had no problems with lag, of course this is relative.
