Question about classes, 2nd jobs and levelling

I thought this video did a decent job of explaining things. (Even if some of his pronunciations are a bit weird to me)

I feel that video is not helpful you don't really need to be the right god/race to be best at your class. The stats a race give you is so low in different it does not matter. Everything else is pretty good tho :0 so good info on the rest.

How would you know? Nobody has done the 2.0 job quests yet.

Your best bet is thinking of jobs as different "modes" of the same class. Like SMN = DD ACN and SCH = Healer ACN. It's the only thing keeping me going to be honest!

Can't believe people would be sad about NOT having to level something. I'm all for going through the story and quests and stuff, but once I run out and I have only the slower means of leveling left available to me, I'm not looking forward to grinding out those levels, let alone if I had to do it 9 more times for the jobs.

That's why I said "a little more"... 2 jobs rather than just 1. Would have been nice to be able to completely experience both jobs from 1 till 50, to learn how to play them better rather than have to switch jobs around while levelling or learn one of them at 50.
