I thought SE said that they weren't going to take armguard codes after a certain period too? I just registered my BF's copy of XIII (armguard one) and didn't get a code displayed after. Is it too late?

The paper code there could be an expiry date, but my email doesn't have any expiry date on, so I'll check it asap.

Bad news bears. Your characters only start with that item on creation, and any characters created after redeeming the code would have the armguards.

We have Moogle-Delivery in ARR for this.

I'd assume getting Hermes' shoes now is impossible... That offer's long dead. But as someone who does still have a pair, you're not missing much. :P

Hermes Shoes allow effective constant Sprinting in city-states, as it pushes the duration to (or almost to) the recast.

The downside is that aetheryte shards are everywhere, making them pretty useless outside Limsa Lominsa (which has sparsely spaced shards and very few compared to Gridania).
