What did the code slip from FFXIII to get the Asuran Armguards look like?

I wanted to get FFXIII for PS3 so I bought it from Amazon new. And I luckily got a black label version (not a Greatest Hits). I opened it up and saw this inside, which looks different from the normal Members code that I believe my friend had.



Is this regarding for an Avatar for PS3? Or is this the one used to get the promotion code to get the Asuran Armguards, and if so would I still be able to get them? Would it be something I'd have to take up with support since the old way to redeem it is no longer existent?

I know the Garlond Goggles will still be redeemable so this can't have expired.

The Armguards are pretty cool to have IMO.

I threw in a support ticket on SE Support requesting if I could get the Asuran Armgaurds. I registered the code on my Members account and even provided it in the ticket.

It'd be cool to have those dope gloves.

Not much so. The item is equippable at level 1 (yay!) and it lists the Item Level as 11, so it's overpowered for a level 1 item, but the first Hands slot item which also has +15 Gathering is unsurprisingly the level 11 Hard Leather Wristguards.

So you'll either replace them at lv11 with Hard Leather Wristguards +1 (idk stats on those tho), or lv16 with Goatskin Wristguards (+18 Gathering and two Materia slots).

You should be able to redeem the code once the SE accounts start accepting them again. And yes, that is the code for the Asuran Armguards :3
