If you want the physical goodies of the CE, you may do so and I believe able to receive the preorder in-game items as well when you get the codes.

You're good. If you own the 1.0 CE and have it registered, your account automatically gets upgraded to CE status for 2.0 and you'll receive those in-game items. And since you're legacy, you also get early access.

Just a little more clarification.
