    Not sure if this has been mentioned or no ... I tried searching but no results

    but is odin's fight going to be instanced or pop up?

    Every mention of it I've seen has said it will be a FATE based battle.

    It'll probably be a FATE at first then go into the Wandering Instance..the one where Odin will get stronger each time he's defeated. After all the non-Elder Primal fights will be Instanced at first before they go into the Wandering status. Quests and Story Line -> Instance Fight -> Couple of patches later along with PvP -> Wandering Primal fight for FCs
