Japanese voice acting with English subtitles in English client

Hello,

I would like to apologize in advance if this has been answered before, I have looked into the search and there was some posts but no clear statement for that part.

I would like to know the official stand on the possibilities of enabling the Japanese voice acting along with the English subtitles while playing an English subtitles, at least for the cut scenes where voice acting is enabled.

I know a lot of people that would really like to have that option available, and I for one.

It has been mentioned in previous interviews (and a live letter I think) that this will be possible.

I have gone through live letters, for the 2nd time, expect V since it hasn't been translated yet, and VII hasn't been released.

They mentioned something about switching the voice, but it wasn't clear if you can have English subtitles along with it, that in an English client.

Could you point out where exactly, whenever you can, if you please?

You can switch the audio to whatever you want, but keep in mind the English "subtitles" won't be a direct translation of what's being said in the Japanese dialogue. The English text will be direct captions of the English voices, and follow the English localization of the game, pretty much "dubtitles".
