    Official Beta Key Troubleshoot Thread (FOR PC ONLY)

    Zwei here, I am having an LS mate post this thread for me because I am unable to log into the Lodestone forums. This problem is a different matter but it has been preventing me from addressing the issue of PC 1.0 players who have not received Phase 3 keys.

    I suspect that Hotmail might be the problem. All my friends having this problem have Hotmail as their main email on their SE account, myself included.

    These are the email addresses my Hotmail account has received.

    autoinfo_us@account.square-enix.com (Changes to SE account)
    ffxiv-noreply@square-enix.com (Confirming Beta application)
    NOREPLY-AUTOREPLY@square-enix.com (Confirming submitted Support Ticket)
    do-not-reply@na.square-enix.com (Forum notifications)
    newsletter@us.playonline.com (FFXI Newsletter)
    ffxiv-newsletter@square-enix.com (FFXIV Newsletter, everyone got this June 12th)

    The email addresses my Hotmail account has not received.

    noreply@xmail.square-enix.com (FFXIV Beta key distribution system)

    It is possible that this email is being completely filtered somehow.

    This is a new thread for the purpose of organized troubleshooting. Please reply to this one giving information in the following format. Then afterwards posts should be constructive, no complaining please.

    I purchased and registered FFXIV 1.0 to my SE account (Y/N)
    I applied for a beta key before June 12th (Y/N) (this is important to note. Those who were told 1.0 players get auto invited may not have submitted a beta key appication. A possible factor.)
    The main email provider on my SE account is _______. (Hotmail, Gmail etc)

    Last of course,

    If you use Hotmail and have received a key from noreply@xmail.square-enix.com, please let us know.

    Yea. I think you are onto something here. I made mention of the same facts earlier.
    I see people posting who are having the issue.
    Were you also legacy or did you pay for a few months but not get legacy?
    might be another similarity.
    But the same similarity is indeed we all seem to of been using hotmail.
    I F'n hate hotmail.
    I am so "S" canning my account and using Gmail from now on.
    This always happens with them.
    Not even kidding. Hotmail does this crap all the time.
    Yahoo doesn't, Gmail doesn't, Hotmail does..
    Ugh..

    I recommend anyone who hasn't, adds this email address to their safe list in hotmail.

    Manually add it.
    Go to settings on the right "The small gear symbol, top right"
    Then more mail settings.

    When I try to log in to the beta forums I get this error: "You could not log in because that service account has been cancelled."

    When I try to link my beta key I get the same type of error. My account is active for FFXIV-ARR under the active service accounts on my square enix account page. I'm not sure what to do. I have an open ticket#: 2327933

    But it has been 3 days and no response, I would really hope I can get this fixed for the next phase 3 beta test 2 and make sure all my items and everything is setup and transferred over properly.

    Error when trying to add the beta key "Services related to FINAL FANTASY XIV, including FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn Beta Version, cannot be registered with this Square Enix Account."

    edit: this is a legacy account and has been active since the first week of pre order CE bonus and has lots of SE crysta still on the account and is paid through several more months.

    My answers are:
    1. yes
    2. I applied for a beta key for the ps3. Didn't think I had to apply for PC one if your a legacy 1.0
    3. My email is my ISP provider bellaliant.net.....so I guess its not hotmail causing my problem.


    I`m really hoping this gets fixed soon....
