He's not working on DQX anymore. He used to as a chief of planning, and that's why he's been invited as part of the "Early development Alumni" segment

haha i thought you meant him working on DQX. His segment is actually about 45 minutes. I doubt he'll hang around the whole 10 hours

Very doubtful, the stream is in Japanese for a Japanese audience. A port on another platform or a new Dragon Quest game are more likely, or a new expansion (even if it just had one).

Could also be anniversary celebrations, since the game will be one year old in August.
