ya i get youI'd point out how that's really completely wrong however, some people are completely determined that no RMT was ever banned ever. Please keep in mind that for every RMT banned 10 more created. That was the nature of 1.0. It was a breeding ground for lalafells named adljka lakdsj
But keep in mind that even if they managed to survive the 1.0 transfer of characters, they only have 1/10 of the gil they once did. Meaning that they're no more game destroying than anyone else. And like Legacy players that are actually legitimate, they still have to go through the class quests and story lines and dungeons and Ifrit before they can sell things.
BTW, I think Miounne mentioned something about certain names not being accepted into 2.0
anyway, thanks to level sync in dungeons, I don't think even a level 50 bot fisher would last very long without dungeon gears. They would have to level a DoW/DoM from scratch grinding gear and getting aetherytes etc. If they only needed to do it for one character I would understand your concern, but they have to do this with every asfkdl lakdsjf Lalafell they make.

Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together Autographed By "Akihiko Yoshida Tarot Card Sweepstakes Winner
So, where does that leave the rest of us who want to take up fishing as a profession/class and not some hobby for "in-between-battles" or sport?
Cactuars are attracted to awesome FF-Puns! ;3
I'm glad we were able to reel-in a catch! "Hook-line-and-sinker"! XD

In the same boat as people who want to fight primal battles with parley?
Seriously, though, Sir Hiv has confirmed we'll actually fish up craftable/sellable inventory, not just a tick on a list and an achievement. Now it's up to me to find the profit, even if it's only like my other DoL in ARR so far, mostly just to provide massive amounts of mats (and gil savings) for skilling up.
Oh, also, now I can even say that this is better than the fishing system that FFXI launched with, IMHO. And we know updates are coming, like treasure map stuff, and we can continue to post feedback requesting more.

I'm just playing the skeptic card here. Fishing will begin low-profile. Whether it be a class or cross-classes. I enjoyed fishing in 1.0 and would like it to be a solid class.
*Whisper, whisper*
I'm pretty sure also that updates will pile on, i'm not really complaining but I'm sure there's a 000secret000 pond or000 beach000 to go fishing at. (if your a hard-care DoL_fisher) ;D
