I didn't realize it was on the back of the neck. Did anyone take a screenshot of it?

I'm not sure. It may only apply to characters that were actually created from 1.0 and not apply to "new" characters used in Beta III.

It says "Survived the Calamity" which would be 1.0 characters, as Phase III characters didn't technically participate.

Short answer: I really don't know.

Not unless it glows through cloth, armor and hair.

You can always change your hairstyle in order to see it. Remember in the live letter they said there will be a barber shop.

I mean I like that my character has red eyes, but it doesn't mean I don't equip helmets with visors.
