    It's also a marketing opportunity which they have obviously chosen to release as they have lifted their security measures. Just like by coming onto this beta I wanted to market how awesome this game was to my friends so they would join at release. That said we were also promised access which is still a marketing device and something people may have paid for specifically because of that "promised access".

    It may be just a beta and just a testing thing but it's also a direct reflection of their ability to provide the game we have all been waiting for... and the level of customer service that said game deserves.

    SE messed up... done.. Im getting tired of people "defending" SE.
    Im not gonna say that i defend those who go apeshit either but its really frustrating when SE cant deliver what they have promised us.
    I know there is a problem getting in the beta even with the key. (Beta=expecting problems)
    But the key issue is a pain in the ass because we wore promised it. (my biggest issue)
    2 days have passed and the lack of updates from the devs, help from support team and low priority for some of the v 1.0 players isnt really helping.
    Im not saying their not working on the issue, but if you announce that all v 1.0 players can join beta phase 3 you gotta expect a much higher traffic. Not gonna say we should get higher priority than the ps3 players, but i cant say i feel less prioritised when we arent getting any info or updates. Best thing (my opinion) would be for the devs to give us a new date for us to expect the key, so we dont have to f5 our inbox every 5 min..
    That being said, Im really looking forward to try the beta when i get the chance.

    Don't bother calling in, waited 2x 45min myself disconnected on last time after a transfer...
    Besides after telling us to call in and send emails they updated not to waste our time do to high congestion on phone lines to.

    Good first impression for the 1.0 people... (Or wait, is that 2nd Chance...)

    Again the worst part is not even the decency to keep us informed...Its the least they could have done. Were talking 1.0 people here not some first time around kids.

    And kids need to grow up, has nothing to do with Beta excuse; Like the guy above said in the most golden way; its a marketing blunder... I don't think were being unreasonable at all; Don't you still have that bad taste in your mouth?
    They sure did get that Ps3 key issues solved fast... huh.

    The last thing they want is a PR mess like last time; it wasn't just because the game was seriously flawed and run by a maniac; they didn't communicate, they didn't listen, and worse they told us to pretty much sit down and shut up. (How to play)

    Well,

    Realistically speaking I figure they haven't said anything because their embarrassed. This isn't really isn't the games dev team problem, it's whoever is in charge of logistics and Customer Support. I really hope they didn't opt for some Cheap ass support team.

    This is one of the last remaining MMORPGs that charge per month. We should have customer support that reflects that that level of quality.

    Ladies, and gents... I wouldn't waste too much time on those emails/support calls, it's weekend, they are not working. As you can tell from the very miss leading post from the community manager, it was posted from his/her phone as he/she was having a few drinks with friends. Go to customer support? check your junk mail, and inbox? lol as if 98% of the people haven't been doing that.

    Support has been down since Friday evening, as they are always out of the office at 6 on the dot. Don't hold your breath, you won't get solid info until Monday when people are back in the office. If you haven't noticed you can't even "chat" support anymore for ARR, you have to go to Final Fantasy IV to even get chat, it's all email support now for ARR. (I would recommend sending an email though) Once again good luck to all still waiting, as a legacy/1.0 thats been dicked around since phase 1, I feel your pain.
