I just want to know why after 6 months they don't have a concrete plan of changing this game. If it takes 6 months just to conceive an idea, how long will it take to develop that idea? That is my concern.

Joking aside, there is a lot of work to be done and with most MMOs, you don't make or implement every feature in a day or two. Last I heard, GW2 still hasn't started work on PvP and its due out later this year or next. Likewise, I too am curious about what the final product will look like.

Yeah, I think we need to make the distinction of announced and unannounced. I would like to see a more concrete plan/time-line too, but I don't think we should imply they do not have one at all. In fact, from the language I've seen from interviews and letters I think there is more reason to believe there are firm plans in place just, again, unannounced.

Yoshida already said the plan is in place for years to come, but he won't show us the long-term schedule before he knows what his team can and can't do. Until then we get the schedules 3 months ahead of time.

I recall Yoshida saying his plan was to fix the foundation (which has been going on) then deliver content by the end of summer/for the 1 year anniversary.

i think its the latter. seeing the reactions from the community so far, i wouldn't blame em for keeping things underwrap until its done/finished.

Ok let me explain, when i said concter plan i ment they do have a plan for the game. They dont want to give info , Lets say the new Battle system. They will give info once they have a final product. So they give us tidbits on what they going to do to the game but no hard details. So the only time we'll get info is pretty much when their going to release it.

Companies, I believe any info will be vaig, with the exception of some conctert titbits mixed in with it. Who really knows, not I..lol
