seeing they said live letter 1 and 2 would be about different subjects were are our translations ?

There was pretty much nothing new or important said in the first livestream, they just talked and made jokes and stuff, so no need to really document.

When we're able to use our 1.0 characters, are we A) going to be playing on our original servers, or B) porting the data to the beta server we choose?

My friend seems to think they're going with B. since it'd take too much time to port data to a beta server. I haven't seen anywhere stating if they were doing either plan. I had just assumed I would hop on a beta server, choose to port my character, and then at the end of phase 3 it'd get wiped and I'd do it again for Phase 4.

We won't get to play our 1.0 characters till Phase 3, test 2 which at this point is TBA. The reason for this is because this coming up test they want to focus on the PS3 and stability of the servers for the PS3 players and such.

Regarding servers. Assuming that you played 1.0 till server shutdown, if you do absolutely nothing, your character will stay on the server that you are currently on regardless of where it's located. For example: I'm on Durandal. When I log in during Phase 3 test 2, my character will be on Durandal.

If however you want to change servers, you must fill out an application for a server migration when the open up the application process. Remember, legacy characters can only migrate to legacy servers.

Yes at the end of Phase 3 and going into Phase 4, they will do a data wipe. BUT from Phase 4 to Open Release they will no so if you spend all your gil in phase 4, you're broke come Open Release just FYI.

Have you seen that General discussion? The amount of stupidity was too much for me to ignore. I probably could have posted replies without having to use insults and expletives, but I hate stupidity. Soooo... After various warnings.. I was banned. For. ev.. ver..

Anyway.. I knew all of that. What he thinks is going to happen is that our 1.0 server (Masamune) will be where we have to play with our 1.0 characters during beta.

I think that we'll just be able to port them to the server we pick for beta. That's the way I understood it.
