There are two of them, and Juggernauts are easily as tall. If anything, those adamantoise are close to the size of the supposed Omega weapon, and Omega is probably bigger.

They said the turtle was made just for the benchmark, but that'd be cool to have an enemy that size.Eh? Apparently not.
Edit: You meant these? http://img32.imageshack.us/img32/8172/turtleh.jpg
They look roughly Juggernaut-height, so the turtles and the supposed Omega weapon probably are close to the same size as each other.
I wonder if the Empire used some Allagan technology to stop Bahamut...? Seems they have the capability of controlling massively powerful beings....
That's a pretty good theory. Could be why they showed Bahamut with the weird glowing stuff on his head. Makes him easier to control so he doesn't destroy everything because he can.
We both must have exceedingly different senses of perception, because while the Juggernaut in the 1.0 mission was indeed big, it would still be dwarfed by that adamantoise....There are two of them, and Juggernauts are easily as tall. If anything, those adamantoise are close to the size of the supposed Omega weapon, and Omega is probably bigger.

Man looking at that Juggernaut and then the pic of Omega.. wow. He's going to be a big for sure.
Highly doubt it, but it could be an option. Gaius would have no reason to stop Bahamut when Bahamut would simply destroy the city-states..now maybe he was merciful and wanted to do the conquering himself but I doubt it. It's either Louisoix's Plan C (Plan B being the one to send us into stasis to save us) or something 'supernatural.'

Tragically, I think it would be his Plan D in that case...Highly doubt it, but it could be an option.
Plan A: Kill Nael and stop Dalamud's descent.
Plan B: Summon the Twelve
Plan C: Send players into the future.
Plan D: Sacrifice self to stop Bahamut
Hope he never had to use Preparation H.
