did you see the juggernauts?
in 1.0 you *fight* one, and you just see a bit of their legs.
When they carry Omega there...there's 3 of them, and they look tiny.
Tortoise isn't half the size of gridania it's just about as tall as some of the bigger trees.
Omega is bigger than the 3 juggernauts combined.
so even if it's not bigger, or as big as the tortoise, it's certainly close.
i'm guessing they made it that big, in response to, that people wanted that big FATEs/bosses, in the game.

You must be talking about a totally different tortoise, because the one they are referencing was so huge, it was far in the background and still dwarfed everything in the zone.
