    if u remember, every previous dragoon / lancer type weilder with exception of maybe freya from ff9 and khimari from ff10 have had a sword equippable at some point. ff4, ff3, ff6, ff11. oh cid didnt have a sword either. but still most lancer weilders over years have had option of a sword, maybe 50%

    That's cool and all, but no Lancers in XIV use swords. Is it even part of the lore in XIV that Dragoons use swords?
