Dragoon using omnislash

Not at all. Don't even think that we're reacting to "one ability". The game hasn't been announced yesterday ; it's been more than 2 years. They have already shoved a lot of fanservice in our throats, hence some of us feel like puking.

And I insist on the "shove in our throat". They don't only add fanservice, they also exhibit it like it's the main dish and make sure we eat it.
I like the FF series partly because of the references from one opus to another, but these references are discreet so we can discover them (like a mini-game) and they hardly interfere with the game. Here, the fanservice has been on another level for months. And the sword in the trailer bring it up to another level : the devs just don't care anymore. They seem to have a quota of fanservice to fill, even if it means giving a sword to any class, after they've explained how much class identity and uniqueness were important to them (starting as soon as the first letter of the producer).

So what? Yoshi already said that in battle, the fun part of Limit Breaks is deciding who is gonna execute it, and in this case the Dragoon did. I don't think they are gonna limit physical attack limit breaks to one job.

You are correct, they aren't. DRG, MNK, WAR and [in theory] PLD (in a DD role) will all use this Limit Break (Actually called Sword Dance) as their level 2 DD limit break, and Final Heaven as their Level 3 DD Limit Break.

PLD, for example, can use three types of limit breaks because it can fill three roles. (Tank, DPS, Healer). Again, all in theory, since LBs are ROLE dependent, not Job dependent.

Omnislash is a level 2 limit break usable by any melee DPS class.
So both DRG and MNK use it.

Final Heaven is the level 3 melee DPS limit break, also usable by both DRG and MNK.

Last Bastion (the PLD one) is the level 3 Tank limit break usable by WAR and PLD.

Depending on if they consider WAR a Tank or DD, it'll be limited to one or the other..

Keep in mind that a role is something you select. It isn't inherent to the job. When entering, say, Tam-Tara Deepcroft, WAR can choose either Tank or DPS, which means it has access to two types of limit breaks, even if it can only utilize one during the dungeon run.

PLD can select Tank, DPS or Healer positions, so it would have access to three types of limit breaks, again only being able to use one when in a specific role for that run.

All DDs get same limit break from what I was told, it breaks up into Tank, Healer, DD, Caster there is NO JOB SPECIFIC LIMIT BREAK.

melee (dragoon, monk) -> limit break: "omnislash", "Final Heaven" etc.
healer (White Mage, Barde) -> limit breaks ->
caster (Black Mage.., Scholar?, Summoner?) ->limit break: "meteor"

and barde is fitting into the "Healer/supporter" role and is getting that aeo heal/raise skill.

while Dragoon and monk are able to use both final heaven.

Bard is more damage and support roll since they got high range dps so ithink they will have some limit break to, but it would look kinda stupid for ranger to use "ominslash" but maybe final heaven w/e it does unless thats for monk only.

well its an limit break not an normal skill! that would be lame but i hope they add more different typs of limit breaks.
