I saw the same thing. Does not bode well for SE if this garbage isn't fixed. This was literally the number one problem of the entire basic core gameplay and I was furious when I saw it.


I believe it wasn't lag so much as her jumping that messed it up. The last point her feet touched the ground were within the blast range from the look of it, then she jumped and maybe the server doesnt calculate where you are until your feet land?

Jumping doesn't avoid attacks from what we've been told. Especially the "older" content and not until they design content specifically with Jump in mind. Especially true since it has to calculate your position in order to jump over/off of things so it calculates you mid-air.

Looked more like the fact she stood there a good second after it started appearing then tried to get out of the way it was too late. "We don't know" if it's due to how the AoE works in ARR, considering the entire system is different from 1.0.
